The electrical motor factory in Dessau (Saxony Anhalt) is a traditional company at the site with an experience of nearly 60 years in the production of rotating electrical machines.
 
After the company's successful privatisation in 1993 AEM was able to assert its position as a producer of Three-Phase Synchronous Generators and Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors on the national and international market based on the principle of a market-oriented management.
 
By user-friendly, innovative, and safe products with a high standard regarding to quality and reliability, AEM is not a supplier for its customers only but also a partner in competition. Special attention will be paid to the production of special electrical machines in traditional product groups and power ranges based on existing power. This reference as well as the high motivation and qualification of AEM-employees are the basis of continual development, freedom of decision and independence of company.
 
Since 1995 AEM quality management system has fulfilled the requirements in accordance to DIN EN ISO 9001.
 
AEM is member of the "Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie (ZVEI) e.V.", the German electrical and electronic manufacturers' association, and the "Zweckverband zur Förderung des Maschinen- und Anlagenbau Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. (FASA)".
