Compact, eye-catching, unique for limited space issue !
The compact and structureoptimized gear case of the helical bevel gears distinguish themselves by being
machined on all sides and are therefore, ready for a variety of mounting options and applications. The unique motorposition provides an almost flat and easy to mount on ”machine-interface”.

In the basic executions the gear boxes are designed as 2 stage gears up to the size K. 75 (1.250Nm). The bigger gear boxes, beginning with the K. 77 (1.500Nm) are designed as 3 stage gears.

A Motor for 100Hz Characteristic and Any Voltage Worldwide !
WATT EUSAS motors are top quality three-phase AC industrial models from Watt Drive’s customer-oriented modular WATT MAS 2000 motor system.

EUSAS stands for EUROPA - USA - ASIEN and means that the wide voltage range and simple voltage selector in the terminal box enable the motor to be operated with virtually any supply voltage and frequency worldwide.


Connection types:

All world voltages are possible in the range from x190-210V (DD), 330-365V (YY), 380-420V (D) and 660-690V (Y) for 50 and 60Hz.
The board with nine terminals enables star (Y), delta (D), double star (YY) and double delta (DD) connection of the Watt Drive motor.

Explosion-protected drives
Watt Drive gear units observe the 94/9EG (ATEX 95) directives.
In accordance with the new directive, the explosion-protection norm has been extended to include non-electrical operating resources.

Requirements have been set up to regulate the provision or use of devices and protection systems for their intended use in explosive areas.

Watt Drive gear units fulfil these requirements for operating resources and thus ensure reliable line operations when put to use in explosive areas.

Gear units in line with ATEX can be used for gas (G) as well as for dust explosion control (D).


ATEX approval has been given for the following explosive areas:

Equipment group I category M2: I M2 c
Equipment group II category 2:    II 2G c T4
                                                    II 2D c 120°C
Equipment group II category 3:    II 3G T4
                                                    II 3D 120°C


The gear unit, in accordance with ATEX, adheres to the highest quality standards:

• Gear units are equipped with an impact-safe protection
cap for hollow shaft or shrink disc version

• Screws are protected against coming loose

• Own ATEX - nameplate

• Oils with a higher temperature resistance are used

• Ventilation of the gear unit is executed via a special
high pressure ventilation valve
