This DIN rail mounted encoder interface lets you connect an encoder to a variety of controllers, or to multiple input devices. It provides an optically isolated signal and is available with one of four output driver options making it compatible with all major counter, drive and PLC components. Multiple modules can be daisy-chained together and drive as many as eight different devices from a single encoder.

The interface module also provides LED output indicators for two quadrature channels and an index. All circuitry for the module is packaged in a housing that mounts to a standard external DIN rail. For ease of installation, a 75 mm length of DIN rail is supplied with each module
