Much of the company's success can be attributed to a combination of in-depth flow technology knowledge and the continuous development of sophisticated microprocessors for ultrasonic measurement of flow. Innovative techniques analyze signal information from field-mounted sensors that are capable of measuring time differences to picosecond resolution.
At the Company's 30,000 square foot facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, ultrasonic transit-time flow and level meters are manufactured to cover a wide range of applications that includes open channel, closed pipe and partially filled pipes. Four distinct series of flow and level meters provide reliable and accurate flow data for a wide variety of process control systems.
SERIES Vantage 2000 - Open Channel Flow and Level Measurement
The Vantage 2200 is a state-of-the-art microprocessor-based ultrasonic transmitter utilized for measurement of both liquid level and flow in open channels. The 2200 is equipped, as standard, with an internal data logger that provides for on-screen display of maximum, minimum and average daily flows. More than 70 standard flow equations for flumes, weirs and open flow nozzles are stored in non-volatile memory. Dual sensors can be input to a single set of electronics for dual weir/flume or bar screen level applications. The Vantage 2200 is designed to be extremely user-friendly with an easy to read 20 character alphanumeric, self-prompting display and a menu-driven programming guide available in English, Spanish and German.
SERIES Vantage 4000 - Closed Pipe and Transit-Time Flow Measurement
Eastech Flow Controls was the first company to utilize a phase shift detection system in the design of transit-time flowmeters. This technique greatly improves time difference detectability, which in turn, enhances accuracy and operating stability while substantially reducing the effects of noise. The Vantage 4000 employs the latest microprocessor technology and operates in conjunction with a DSP floating point coprocessor. This signal processing technique combines correlation and FFT detection methods to ensure the highest degree of accuracy and reliability.
Series Accuron 7000 - Open Channel Cartridge Meters
The Accuron 7000 Series is a revolutionary design for open channel flow measurement. The Cartridge design allows for ease of installation of the trapezoidal flume section and all associated sensor arrangements. The Cartridge is available with level sensor only or with additional velocity sensors for area x velocity flow measurement. The microprocessor-based electronics is factory programmed to each Cartridge assembly before the meter is shipped.
SERIES 5000 - Partially Filled Pipe Flow Measurement
The Eastech Flow Controls Series 5000 ultrasonic compound flowmeter is the latest in flow measurement technology for partially filled pipes. With 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of ultrasonic compound flowmeters, Eastech Flow Controls understands the metering problems involved with partially filled pipes. From plant influent to plant effluent, from sewer interceptors to storm water measurement-Eastech Flow Controls will custom design compound flowmeters for specific applications.
Vantage 6000 - Portable Closed Pipe Flow Measurement
The Vantage 6000 Portable Flowmeter is a hand held portable transit time ultrasonic flow meter designed for temporary use in full pipe liquid flow applications from 1 inch to 300 inch in diameter. It uses the chordal velocity measurement principle which provides accurate and reliable flow information. The microprocessor based meter has a graphical LED backlit 160 X 128 pixel display and a 24 button keypad for programming through menu driven entry screens. The 6000 will display flow rate, flow totals and velocity and is provided with a built in programmable data logger. The hand held electronics is enclosed in a water resistant molded polyamide housing. A rubber boot encasing the housing provides protection from external shocks. The meter is powered by an internal 9.6 VDC rechargeable battery that allows up to 5 hours of operation. The meter can also be powered by the 115 to 230 VAC adaptor/charger for extended flow monitoring time
