Gassonic Observer

Advanced ultrasonic gas leak detector for instant detection of pressurised gases. Features:

The Gassonic Observer is a failsafe ultrasonic gas leak detector with the Senssonic™- integrated acoustic self-test to prevent unrevealed failures from occuring. Besides from a standard 4-20 mA analog output the Gassonic Observer is addressable through the RS485 serial digital communication interface. The Gassonic Observer is designed in full stainless steel with an integrated junction box. It is flame proof and certified for hazardous area installation.

Unlike traditional technologies the ultrasonic gas leak detectors are not affected by changing weather conditions and fast dilution of the gas cloud. Nor do they need an explosive gas cloud to build up. Instead, the ultrasonic gas leak detectors instantly detect gas leaks by reacting to the distinct ultrasonic noise that pressurised gas leaks generate. As a consequence, the technology may reduce the risk that hazardous situations will escalate into catastrophic scenarios.

The Gassonic Observer has a detection radius up to 20 metres from the detector at a leak rate of 0.1 kg/s.

Gassonic Surveyor

The Gassonic Surveyor is a new ultrasonic gas leak detector. It is based on robust and proven microphone technology to ensure gas leak detection at the speed of sound. The Gassonic Surveyor is designed in full stainless steel with an integrated junction box. The detector does not need the gas to accumulate or come into physical contact with the detector. As a consequence, it reduces the risk that hazardous situations will escalate into catastrophic scenarios.

The Gassonic Surveyor is designed for long and reliable operation in extreme environmental conditions.

Gassonic MM0100

Ultrasonic gas leak detector for instant detection of pressurised gas leaks.

The Gassonic MM0100 is an intrinsically safe ultrasonic gas leak detector. It is based on robust stainless steel microphone that doesn't become saturated by poisonous or highly concentrated gasses. The Gassonic MM0100 has an MTBF (Mean time Between Failure) of 25.6 years in offshore conditions (Naval Sheltered). It requires no calibration and virtually no maintenance. The Gassonic MM0100 has more than 10 years field installation track record.

Thhttp://gassonic.com/typo3temp/pics/f611a60dd0.jpge junction box 1702 is used for connecting the Gassonic MM0100 to the plant cabeling. The 1702 is connected to the 4-wire cable which has been attached to the Gassonic MM0100 from factory. Since the Gassonic MM0100 is an intrinsically safe unit, the wiring between the detector and the safe area must be done through approved EX-barriers.

Gassonic 1701  

The Gassonic 1701 is a portable test and calibration unit, which is being used for regular maintenance of the Gassonic ultrasonic gas leak detectors. Besides, it may be used for field calibration of the Gassonic Observer and Surveyor.

The Gassonic 1701 is a battery operated intrinsically safe unit that is easily clipped on to the Gassonic detectors.

The Gassonic 1701 emits a calibrated acoustic "test-sound" in increasing levels. When the unit reaches an ultrasonic sound level that triggers the Gassonic detector, the trigger level in dB is displayed on the display of the Gassonic 1701.

The Gassonic 1701 checks the trigger level of the Gassonic detectors within +/- 1 dB. Testing by means of the Gassonic 1701 will ensure optimal coverage and performance of the Gassonic ultrasonic gas leak detectors.
