Xmelt

Xtend Controllers
The Xtend Series includes a modular system for glue control and quality assurance. Its compatibility with all the units in the Compact Series and the C-1100 control modules, secures the use of existing units and modules. An Xtend System consists of a user terminal and a control unit

Diaphragm- and piston pumps are, depending on their application, either directly mounted to the tank or to brackets
Smart Piston Pumps
For delivery of medium to high viscosity glues, we recommend piston pumps with pressure ratios from 2:1 to 34:1. Using a closed loop pressure regulator under electronic control, a synchronized glue volume-to-speed balance is assured. Maximum reliability thanks to contact less electronic reversing mechanism. Even filter change is guided step by step on touch screen.

Cold Glue Guns
Electromagnetic Guns
Ever higher machine speeds demand fast glue systems with higher precision. Electromagnetic Guns from Baumer hhs allow intermittent application at speeds which can no longer be served by conventional mechanical systems. A sealed system reduces setup and maintenance, thus increasing machine output. Non-contact gluing further reduces contamination. Baumer hhs electromagnetic Guns have no moving seals and so are practically wear free and adapted to longitudinal, cross- and dot-gluing
Vario Guns
Extremely fast cycling electromagnetic Guns for non-contact application of glue dots. Small footprint with integrated tip sealer which protects the nozzle from drying during stops and a max. cycles rate to 1000 cycles/sec.
P-Guns
Electrical cold glue application gun P-500 for dot and line gluing. The robust glue applicator with extremely high performance reserves guarantee greatest production availability with minimum maintenance. Dot mode allows application of tiny amounts of glue. If more glue is required, optimised Gun flow combined with a maximum glue pressure of 50 bar (725 psi) provides a wide setting range, allowing adjustment of the applied glue amount as required by product and machine speed at any time.

Heavy duty guns, modulated via differential pistons, for high pressure applications up to 150 bars (2176 psi). Also available in slot-die and spray versions.
Pressure Tanks
For simple, cost effective cold glue supply of low viscosity materials at pressures up to 6 bars (84psi), pressure tanks with 0,75 liters (0.2 gallons) to 12 liters (3.2 gallons) capacities are a reliable solution
Xmelt Components
Xmelt hot melt units together with heated hoses and guns form a hotmelt application system. The unit melts granules and transports them through the heated hoses to the application heads under pressure. Various tank sizes are available.
You can connect up to 8 Xmelt® hoses.
InterActive
This technology allows to exchange references and metered values between Xmelt melters, hot-melt hoses and application guns. The melter detects all hoses and heads that are connected. Each one transmits its history and allowed parameters.
Thanks to this informations the Xmelt melter can adapt system parameters such as heating algorithms optimally to the connected heads and hoses. Additionally the InterActive technology supports external communication. You as a user can modify data on your computer and even via the internet. On the other end, Baumer hhs can detect problems online and solve them

XT-E 4/8/16
The controllers, part of the Xtend series, are the modular and extendable adhesive application controllers for precise glue dispensing on high-speed machines. 4 to 16 channels, max. product speed 1,200 m/min (3937 ft./min). The unit can be fitted with optional Xtend control and monitoring features and a link to the machine's control.
Xtend²
Our Xtend² Series is a modular, integrated system for gluing control and quality assurance. It is compatible and combinable with systems of the Kurandt Compact-Series as well as Baumer hhs controllers. You can use existing devices as well as integrate future quality assurance devices.
The Xtend² system consists of a unit of several individually combined modules and one or more control units, which provide all functions of the glue application systems and quality assurance devices.
