Enclosed Power Thru-Bore

Electro-Miniatures produces several series of Power Thru-Bore slip rings for use in high-current, high-power applications. Each design is optimized for specific current/circuit requirements.

While the primary purpose of the slip ring design is to transfer power, each series can also carry a combination of analog, RF and digital signals.

Enclosed Signal Thru-Bore

The Electro-Miniatures' Enclosed Signal Thru-Bore product line is optimized to carry a generous compliment of Analog, RF and/or Digital Control signals. Custom contact materials and shielding permit the incorporation of both High Speed Digital and RF signals while minimizing cross-talk and interference. Standard, modified standard and custom designs are also available:

Integrated Fiber Optic Rotary Joint/Electrical Slip Rings

Electro-Miniatures designed this slip ring for an ROV or Remotely Operated Vehicle, a submarine robot used in offshore oil production. It incorporates a 7 channel fiber optic rotary joint and is fluid filled to enable it to operate in deep salt water.
